School Uniform
Uniforms create a sense of belonging; we expect all our pupils to take pride in their appearance. Our students wear Hillcrest International School’s uniforms, which aligns with the Braeburn Group policies. Uniforms can be purchased from our suppliers, Animet Ltd, Image First, and Haria’s Outfitters.
Our school uniforms are thoughtfully designed to suit each age group, ensuring practical, climate-appropriate comfort, suitable for the daily activities of our pupils.
Prep School
Sports Uniform
All clothing worn during sports and swimming must be the approved school regulation sports kit.
Hillcrest School bags
A sensible ‘backpack’ style bag is recommended. Please ensure the bag is clearly named.
Jewellery
Pupils are not allowed to wear jewellery of any sort, unless for specific religious purposes. PE/games regulations expressly identify jewellery as a source of physical injury in contact sports. Girls may, however, be permitted to wear small ear studs.
Hair
For girls, long hair should be tied back, preferably with a green scrunchy or hair clip. Boys’ hair must be kept to a reasonable length. Please do not permit your child to come to school with dyed hair or Mohican haircuts.
Shoes
The school is sympathetic to children whose feet require non-standard school shoes. That said, the permitted options are broad. Fashion shoes and fashion trainers for sport are not permitted, and trainers should not be worn with the school uniform.
Senior School
Students must always present themselves in the correct uniform and look smart in appearance.
Body art, such as excessive and visible tattoos, unnatural hair colouring, and excessive piercings, is not permitted. Students with more than one ear and nose piercing must wear only one piece of jewellery as stipulated below.
Skirts should not be shorter than knee-length when the student is seated.
Trousers should be full-length.
Jewellery must be minimal, with only one bracelet per arm and not more than a couple of rings. Chains must not be visible outside their shirts. Students are only allowed one pair of earrings, which should be studs or loops not bigger than the circumference of one’s little finger.
In nose piercings, students are only allowed a small nose stud.
The Games Kit must be the approved Hillcrest sportswear.
